Our biggest priority is to provide a caring, nurturing and loving environment. We will ensure your baby settles well into the nursery from the outset by focusing on providing a comfortable and safe yet stimulating atmosphere. Our nursery helps to foster curiosity and keep your child happy.

At Playtime Nursery- Shepperton, our Baby and Toddler Room is a warm, and homely environment where your baby can play, explore, rest and sleep. It is perfect for exploring and stimulating your child’s senses. The room is set up for all kinds of activities depending on what is planned for the day.

Throughout the day your child can get involved in arts and crafts, experimenting with and exploring sand, water, play dough and other materials which support so much of children’s learning. Creative and sensory play in a stimulating environment is very important and contributes to your baby’s early learning experiences. Babies grow and develop rapidly during their first year, and as they become more mobile, physical play is also encouraged.

Our team will also spend plenty of time singing songs and telling stories to your child in order to help support their developing communication skills and language acquisition.

The Role of the Key Person

Your child will be assigned a Key Person who is responsible for supporting them on a one-to-one basis. They will work hard to ensure that your child’s daily care needs are met, as well as their individual learning and developmental requirements.

Our teams guide the children’s developing relationships with other children, starting to help them to look after themselves and others too. Supporting them to wipe their own hands after food times, is just one of the many ways we support children on the journey of independence.

I cannot recommend Playtime Nursery Shepperton enough as a nursery or preschool to send your little ones to.
