A recent survey conducted by one of the leading sector publications, Nursery World, was undertaken in June 2019 and gathered the opinions of 1,647 respondents across the UK. This built upon a previous survey conducted back in February 2018.
The aims of the survey were to;
- Understand the motivations and aspirations of people working in the early years industry
- Their views on leading nursery groups
- The qualities that matter most to them in an employer
Take a look at the findings from Nursery World’s survey below…

We understand the needs of our staff
88% of respondents either strongly agree or agree that All About Children understand the needs of their colleagues. This result exceeds the standards of the industry average, and we are extremely proud of this.
As we do not have a Head Office, our Senior Team spend their time in our bespoke nursery settings. This means that our Childcare and Education and Operations Managers get to know each team member really well and have the chance to mentor and support them, depending on their individual needs and career aspirations. In this way, we grow to truly understand the needs of our team members.
We care about our staff’s wellbeing

We know that there are crises or unexpected situations in our lives when an understanding and supportive employer makes all the difference, so in difficult times, we are there to look after our employees. As mentioned, we provide flexibility, support and sick pay when needed. We believe that this is important to protect our colleague’s wellbeing.
