You don’t need formal qualifications to start an apprenticeship with All About Children. There are a number of entry points for individuals with diverse academic backgrounds. If you’re looking at vocational options which will lead you straight into a job, you can explore Level 2 or Level 3 childcare qualifications.

Choosing Your Pathway
If you’re looking for alternatives to formal education, and want something practical where you can earn a salary while you train, there are two main childcare apprenticeship options:
- Level 3 Pathway (Advanced Apprenticeship -the equivalent of two A Levels)
- Level 2 Pathway (Intermediate Apprenticeship -the equivalent of five GCSEs at Grade 4+)

What Happens After You’ve Finished Your Apprenticeship?
Depending on which apprenticeship you choose, you can either become a qualified Early Years Practitioner or a Nursery Assistant. This is entirely up to your job aspirations. If you’d like to go even further in your career, you can go into a management role, become a Room Leader or perhaps join our Head Office team.
