Nursery in West Bridgford

My name is Sue Nesbitt and I am the Manager here at Leo’s Nursery in West Bridgford.

I qualified with Early Years Teacher Status in 2011, but have worked in Early Years since 1998. I have had a long relationship with this nursery, initially as a parent choosing it for my youngest daughter. I think it was the homely, warm and welcome feeling I picked up on when viewing the nursery that was the deciding factor. The nursery as it is today is a product of many years of developing and nurturing that ethos. Our parents tell us that the relationship they have with us feels like a part of their extended family.

Before becoming Manager of the nursery in 2010, I developed my experience of working closely with children as a Practitioner. This has given me the experience and knowledge over the years to develop a deep understanding of children’s needs in terms of their development, care and wellbeing.

Leo’s Day Nursery West Bridgford is one of our fantastic day nurseries based in Nottingham. We have an amazing team of Practitioners and Senior Leaders here at Leo’s Day Nursery West Bridgford and we are so proud of their professionalism, commitment and genuine enjoyment of their roles. We embrace staff development and strive to ensure that our environment both indoors and outdoors supports children’s learning experiences, taking into account their views and interests. We aim for our children to be independent learners, confident, curious, seeking challenges and celebrating their achievements however big or small at our day nursery in West Bridgford.
