When All About Children was established in 2010, we started out with the belief that nothing was more important than delivering outstanding outcomes for children. We can’t do this without you, our staff. That’s why we want people who share this belief to join our work family. At every All About Children nursery, you’ll find a caring and passionate team empowered to do what they love most – providing the best possible care and early years education to children and their families.
Here are just a few of the reasons why people join the All About Children work family:
- The flexibility to balance work and home
- Discounted childcare
- Training and development to help you grow
- A place where fun is guaranteed – we work hard but we also play hard!
- Fantastic spaces to grow and develop
Our work family is filled with talented individuals, passionate about what they do and keen to take advantage of the opportunities we present to them to train and develop, allowing them to fulfil their potential.
If you’re passionate about childcare and are looking to take on a new challenge, we have a number of rewarding opportunities that could be perfect for you.
“Full support from all staff; teamwork every step of the way and a real ‘family’ feeling.”
Jodie Flint – Level 3 Nursery Nurse
The Perfect Work-Life Balance
We know that many of our team have caring responsibilities outside of work and a supportive employer makes all the difference. If you need to work flexible hours, we have opportunities available that allow you to work part-time and look after your own children, or elderly relatives, whilst having a rewarding career.
We are a company that cares about all our staff. For instance, we ensure support is provided to them whenever they need it and sick pay if required.
We have a number of exciting full-time and part-time childcare opportunities as well as childcare apprenticeships available.
Discounted Childcare
Take advantage of our substantially discounted childcare for staff at our nurseries – saving you money and making juggling work and home a doddle when you can take your child to work.
“I look forward to coming into work and seeing the children. My manager and colleagues are super friendly and inviting, making me feel welcome and at ease”
Jess Smith – Nursery Apprentice
Training and Development to Help you Grow
At All About Children, we believe in empowering all of our team members to excel in their jobs, and so, we provide the necessary tools and support in order to ensure that they achieve their full potential. That’s why training is a key part of life for staff at our nurseries. Our teams upskill whilst learning to support our teams in ensuring that our nurseries are a fun and safe environment to work in. In each of our roles, you will receive:
- Inclusion Training
- Safeguarding Training
- Supporting Children’s Behaviour (Behaviour Management)
- Health and Safety Training
- First Aid (every 3 years)
Staff are also given free access to three online early years courses, provided by the Childcare Company. At All About Children, we want our staff to have full control over what they want to get out of their role. Therefore, staff work closely with their manager to select one course to support their career progression and then select an additional two courses of their choice.
A Place Where Fun Is Guaranteed – We Work Hard but we also Play Hard!
It’s not all about work at All About Children. We love to get together socially outside of work and also get involved in activities in the local community.
From water rafting races with the childrens’ parents to celebrating World Book Day, there’s always something fun for our staff to get involved in.

Fantastic Spaces to Grow and Develop
Our teams love working in the nursery settings we have created. Each nursery is completely unique and enriched with plenty of resources and is full of natural light. Our settings are designed to offer exciting, stimulating, and engaging spaces for our children (and our teams) to grow and develop in.
You’ll Never Feel Alone at All About Children
We value our staff and offer a range of support so our teams never feel alone. Our nursery managers tell us that our support teams are one of the key elements that make us unique and make working for us a pleasure. We want our nurseries to be our staff’s home away from home. We provide early years expertise, help with recruitment and marketing, financial help, as well as a parent relationship team meaning our nursery staff can concentrate on what they do best – providing a welcoming and stimulating environment for our children and parents.
