Settling in Sessions
At Daybreak Amersham Day Nursery, we believe that children flourish when their personal, social and emotional needs are met. With this in mind, we offer Settling in Sessions for your child before they start their nursery adventure. It’s extremely important that your child feels safe and secure in their nursery environment before they start permanent sessions.
What to expect from Settling in Sessions
- We will start to build relationships with you and your child
- You will meet our team and your child’s Key Person
- We will start to find out your child’s likes and dislikes, home routine and any specific requirements such as nap times, meal preferences and comforters
The main aim of these sessions is to ensure that you and your child feel completely happy before you start permanent sessions with us.
Our Nursery and Registration Fees
To book a place we require a £75.00 non-refundable registration fee for a new family (Please note this fee is not applicable for fully funded sessions). At the time of booking you can usually reserve the sessions that you’ll need, even if its many months into the future. You can also start free settling in sessions as soon as your child is ready, and before your child is due to start with us.
Your regular fees (once your child starts with us) are charged monthly, in advance, and must be paid on or before the first day of each month. You can pay by Direct Debit or by Childcare Voucher.
We calculated those fees by taking your pre-booked attendance, and our fee structure at the time (fees are reviewed each year on 1stJanuary). Your fees are calculated by taking your child’s weekly attendance fee, and then multiplying this by the number of chargeable weeks per year (52), and then dividing this annual charge by 12 to give a monthly payment.
Our Sibling Discount
Our main discount is our discount for siblings. If you have more than 1 child at Daybreak, then we offer a discount of 10% on your eldest child’s nursery fee when their sibling starts.
