Daybreak Nursery in Amersham is located on Chiltern Avenue just a few hundred yards from the main car public park. Our supremely convenient and accessible location make us a top choice for parents working in Amersham Town Centre or commuting into London via the tube.

Our Amersham nursery was refurbished to the highest standard in 2020

Our Baby/Toddler Nursery Room is in a spacious cabin with natural resources and decorated in neutral colours to create a peaceful and tranquil environment. We have a door at the back that leads straight out into our garden for the babies and toddlers to explore.

Our Nursery and Pre-School was also refurbished from top to bottom in 2020 and was provided with new resources and equipment. Both rooms lead directly out to the large, enclosed garden.

“The Curiosity Approach”

In partnership with “The Curiosity Approach”, we aim to provide a family environment through a calming tranquil space. We use neutral colours and natural materials creating cosy places for children to sit and look at books or engage in deep learning. Our staff members work hard to provide wonderful and exciting learning opportunities which impact positively on your child’s happiness and well-being.

Our ethos is demonstrated by how we focus on and deliver activities which celebrate magical moments in nursery and utilise the invitations to learning which we provide for all ages of children, which will promote curiosity, imagination, creativity, awe and wonder for children.

A stimulating environment to play in and explore helps your child learn and grow. We use real items to offer authentic experiences to children. Tea parties are much more interesting, educational and stimulating if you are using a real tea set, real food and real tea (with cold water obviously) rather than using limiting plastic resources. We learn from families what it is that their children are interested in and replicate this and extend these interests at nursery and you’ll get to see them in action on the online learning system that we use.

OFSTED have rated our day nursery in Amersham as “Good”.

Our nursery welcomes children aged 3 months to 5 years old.
