Take a look at what the parents of the children in our care have to say about Progress House Day Nursery. We hope you’ll find these reviews of our nursery in Market Harborough useful.
Progress House has been a huge part of our daughter’s development. From the meals to the local walks and exploring they do, we have been impressed with the continued progress the nursery has made and know the children are their highest priority.

Her key workers in particular helped us through the difficult trials of toddler-hood and Covid19, putting us at ease and communicating with us and relevant health professionals. Elaine and her team create such a fun and supportive environment. Rosie approaches school prepared, with more confidence and ready to continue her education with the close group of peers she has grown alongside at this wonderful nursery.
I have sent both of my children to Progress House over the last 6 years and during that time we have always been greeted with a warm smile and a cuddle for my children. My children have made loads of friends at the nursery and have learnt so much all while having lots of fun! Elaine and the staff are always happy to help and when asked have also given tips and guidance for us parents too! This is a wonderful nursery and I shall be sorry when my youngest leaves to start school

Having had one child go through their early years at Progress and currently another in Lower preschool I can honestly say Progress house is such a well-run nursery that gives off that family vibe and environment. Elaine and the team are always welcoming and approachable, and you can tell they enjoy bringing smiles to the children’s faces through learning and fun activities. Progress uses the tapestry website to record all your child’s updates and development through the terms. Your child will have a focus week at various stages and photos and feedback are given on the website. Given what the staff had to endure through the covid lockdowns, as a key worker their hard work in difficult times was very much appreciated. Always showing professionalism and making sure as little impacted the children as possible. Knowing the staff who work hard but enjoy what they do reassures me as a parent that my child will get the best enjoyment, learning and development at Progress house nursery.
Ross Ginns (Parent of Child)
Both of my sons have thoroughly enjoyed their time at Progress House. They have made lots of friends and have really close bonds with some of the staff. They enjoy the huge range of activities on offer, especially playing on the pirate ship in the garden or going on group walks. The staff really care about the children and go out of their way to make sure they always have a great day. They really helped my older son prepare for his transition from nursery to school, which made for an easy start when he joined reception
Laura (Parent of Child)
All three of my boys have attended Progress House and have been very happy there. They are well cared for, have been interested in the activities that have been planned for them (especially the adventure walks), but most importantly have built some amazing bonds with the staff who have cared for them. As a parent, I have also built strong relationships with the staff and enjoy when they share achievements that the boys have made whilst with them. The nursery has a family feel and the staff know the children really well.
