Children’s Books That Help With Emotion

Coronavirus has changed lots of children’s routines and daily patterns like continuous hand sanitising, hand washing and new rules for playing with their friends. Change can often upset children as they feel secure in their routines. However, what we have all been through this past year, may be more stressful as children are able to recognise loss and sadness.

Emotions can be tough at the best of times for children, however, there will be lots of new emotions coming through at this time and having to deal with these emotions for the first time will be hard.

Here is a selection of books that can help children understand some of the challenging emotions they may feel.
