As Autumn arrives, the changes in weather start to become more noticeable. Sharing these changes with children is an excellent way to introduce seasons and the different types of weather we experience during different seasons. Pin When Windmills are a great way to capture and demonstrate the increased wind flow. They are fun and easy to make and offer up other ‘experimental’ opportunities for developing young minds.
You can role model and support children to come up with ideas of how to make their windmills spin inside, where there is no wind, (blowing, fans, spinning with the windmill to create airflow).
What will you need?
